    At the end of 2019, a musician living near the Lyon squat in which Obi Bora lives meets him by chance, and the adventure begins. Obi Bora in his journey has continued to mature his texts and his music internally, in the light of this extraordinary experience, in the harshness of a long-term exile, at the end of tribulations which draw the path of a modern-day odyssey shared by thousands of migrants like him.


    MASS BASS & MPEVE BAND
    Congolese rumba

    Born in Kinshasa, Mass Bintsamu Massamba by his artist name Mass Bass, is a composer, bassist, arranger and sound engineer.

    A self-taught musician, he joined the Lexxus Legal group at a very young age, with whom he campaigned for the defense of his people and human rights. He participates in numerous tours in Africa and Europe. Following reprisals for his commitment, he was injured in the head and suffered after-effects.

    He tries to resume his musical activity but knowing he is threatened, at the beginning of 2016, he decides to join Europe. In France since January 2019, he is a member of the Atelier des artistes en exile and participates in numerous musical projects.
