The Great Race of Grand Paris Express

The Grande Course du Grand Paris Express wants to be anchored in its time: innovative, eco-responsible, united, popular. We want to show that it is possible to organize a big run, in a big city, while limiting the impact on the environment.

Sustainable development is the cornerstone of this event. The goal is to organize a race with low ecological impact and high social impact. To do this, we reduce our waste at source (0 plastic) and sort as precisely as possible (5 streams) to optimize the recycling of our waste. In the village we will welcome businesses from the SSE (Social and Solidarity Economy), linking sport, well-being and ecology. Many workshops and conferences will also be offered to participants, so that everyone leaves with their bib but also with new ideas!

La Grande Course is committed to solidarity, in particular with the establishment of an eco-box to collect runners' sports objects and give them a second life. We are giving out bibs to refugees in an attempt to bring some fun to some very tough life journeys. History will remember that the first winner of La Grande Course in 2017 was a political refugee!
