Rugby World Cup - Semi-finals

At this stage of the competition, there will only be 4 teams still in the running. Who will succeed England, New Zealand, Wales and South Africa, semi-finalists in the previous edition which took place in 2019 in Japan? France, Australia, Ireland or Scotland will be strong candidates. But we must not forget the underdogs such as Argentina and Japan who can play the part of the party and beat all the odds.

After more than a month of competition and already 5 matches played (4 group matches and a quarter-final), the road is not very long to become World Champions. After 4 years of preparation, none of the semi-finalist teams will want to miss their chance to dethrone the South Africans and raise the great prize of world rugby: the Webb Ellis Trophy. This trophy is named after the student who, according to legend, invented rugby nearly 200 years ago. It is awarded to each captain who wins the Rugby Union World Cup.

While the winner can hope to reign in rugby for 4 years, the loser will not have finished the competition. He will have one last challenge to take up: winning third place in the Bronze final.
