Festival Rencontre des Jonglages - Materia

MATERIA explores the possibilities of a material, polystyrene, to the point that it becomes alive and the protagonist of events on stage. The role of the performer shifts to that of facilitator, and attention is constantly negotiated between the object, the manipulator and the manipulation. Within a defined structure, the objects are free to play and take initiatives. The piece does not seek to force a narrative but rather to let the audience organise their own imagination from the images presented on stage.
