For its 40th edition, Banlieues Bleues is pulling out all the stops by inviting Hamid Drake, the emblematic Chicago drummer who has played with the greatest in free jazz.
With this concert, he joins a group of artists to present a tribute to Alice Coltrane, African-American activist, pianist and cosmic organist, godmother of spiritual jazz. The drummer returns to Houdremont 30 years after his very first appearance in France, which took place in La Courneuve!
