This photographic work was carried out as part of "Repairing the Intimate", one of the self-esteem improvement workshops of La Maison des femmes, led by Clémentine du Pontavice and Louise Oligny. This workshop is an integral part of the care pathway offered to women victims of violence, cared for within the Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis.

The project "Stand up the queens!" invited women to redefine themselves as decision-making "queens" of their lives. They were invited to reflect on the contours of their own kingdom and to reclaim their image in photos.

The exhibition of these photographs on the gates of the garden of the Saint-Denis cathedral basilica, the royal necropolis where the greatest queens in the history of France rest, marks the culmination of the process of this workshop.
