  • A musical tale to see with the family, as part of the festival Africolor, festival of music from Africa.

Yacouba Konaté, accompanied by percussionist Waly Saho, offers a musical tale for young and old, "Le Jeune Yacou", which recounts his life in exile. Young Yacou lives peacefully in Ivory Coast. In 2010, the war breaks out, the rebels enter the city and Yacou has to leave his country. He goes to Niger then to Libya where he knows again the war. He transited Tunisia for several years, at the Choucha refugee camp until his arrival in France in 2016. Yacouba Konaté delivers his story here in music. A story where each event is the occasion of a new song interpreted in Bambara, in French or in Arabic. A crossing of Africa in music whose war is the secondary character.
