What's up in Middle Age?

Cultural ,  Exhibition at Paris 19e Arrondissement
  • The Middle Ages, a dark period of history? Rediscover 1,000 years of history through this exhibition that draws on the latest archaeological discoveries!

Besieged castles, knights rescuing princesses in distress, plagues, images agreed on the Middle Ages are numerous and platitudes die hard. But many discoveries made in recent years by archaeologists offer a more complex and Middle Ages exciting than we thought.

A collaboration with Inrap (National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research), the exhibition What's new in the Middle Ages?
provides an innovative portrait of that time which covers more than 1000 years. Where we learn that glasses and compasses were invented in the Middle Ages, and we owe him the industry, the suburbs, or land. Back on the medieval era that holds
    still many hidden treasures.
