Hors Limites - Les mille et un mondes de Malika Ferdjoukh

Cultural ,  Festival at Saint-Ouen

  • Reading-meeting with Malika Ferdjoukh as part of the festival Hors Limites.

In her novels filled with romantic, musical and cinematographic references (mainly American cinema), Malika Ferdjoukh strives to tell stories of family and siblings where the ambivalence of human feelings is mixed with the learning of life: love, hate, friendship, fear ... are the founding elements of his work.
Flickering between crime fiction and adventure, the author transcends genre boundaries with a keen eye for style and the renewal of storytelling techniques. Giving depth to her characters, she depicts children or adolescents most often orphaned, sometimes bruised and ill at ease, whom we love for their marginality, their strangeness, their fragility and their courage.
The meeting with Malika Ferdjoukh will allow students reading clubs colleges Michelet and Jean-Jaurès to discuss with her her career, her job as an author and the universe that composes her books.
