Hors Limites - Les choses qu’on casse

Cultural ,  Festival at Saint-Ouen
Bibliothèques en Seine-Saint-Denis
  • As part of the festival Hors Limites, the Label Young Texts in Liberty offers a reading of the author Edith Delarue.

Ahgnahr, the father and Gabriel, his son, witness the destruction of their building. A surprising show is offered to them. As the walls fall, paintings are revealed in the open before disappearing under the blows of the excavators.

A month earlier, Gabriel is back. He does not go back to his father's house. He squats the empty apartments after the departure of the neighbors. Ahgnahr is the last inhabitant of the tower. At home, time seems frozen. His son did not give any news for two years and here he comes to graffer the walls of their building.

It will take a lot of paint bombs, a lot of detours, a lot of stories to break the silence between father and son and reconnect the bonds that will allow one to grow and the other to leave.

The Label jeunes textes en liberté wishes to encourage the emergence of contemporary authors and dramatists and advocates a better representation of diversity on the French theatrical scene. In theaters, but also outside, closer to the world.
