Festival of Saint-Denis - Mozart / Messiaen

Cultural ,  Festival ,  Concert at Saint-Denis
  • This classical music festival has got international fame by inviting the world's greatest talents for 50 years!

On the program tonight: works by Mozart (Symphonie concertante, K. 364, The Vespers of a Confessor, K.339) and Messiaen (Three Little Liturgies). With Renaud Capuçon, violin, Adrien La Marca, viola, the Maîtrise de Radio France, the Chœur de Radio France and the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sofi Jeannin.

A Mozart famous and intensely expressive, at the intersection of the symphony and the concerto, which makes sing and dialogue the violin of Renaud Capuçon and the viola of his accomplice Adrien La Marca; A Mozart of Solemn Vespers for choral and graceful voices, masterfully conducted by the richness of the orchestra; Finally a Messiaen, for its joy, its rhythms and colors between waves Martenot, piano and celesta, strings and vibraphone, and of course the voices of children, which make up this "divine" stained glass window.

A concert in the form of a poetic triptych, for three musical formations of Radio France, directed by Sofi Jeannin.
