Festival Métis - Durban Mix

Cultural ,  Festival ,  Concert at Saint-Denis
  • This year, the Métis Music Festival takes you to South Africa!

Gandhi has lived in South Africa for 20 years, mainly in Durban, the "Indian" city of the country. He developed his philosophy of non-violence that directly influenced the ANC and Nelson Mandela, born in 1918, just 100 years ago. Métis offers a musical portrait of this cultural melting pot that is South Africa with classical music from England, music of Indian tradition and South African songs.

With Lukhanyo Moyake, tenor, Mpumalanga White Birds, men's choir, and the Île-de-France National Orchestra conducted by Alpesh Chauhan.
