  • Marc Melki exposes his photographs at the Grand Bouillon!

In 2012, near the Place de la Bastille, Marc Melki sees men, women and children in the street. For two years, he photographs them during their sleep to "witness daily the unbearable".

Faced with the inaction of public authorities, Marc Melki decides to go further: he wants to reverse the roles and then proposes to personalities to put themselves in a situation of homeless, huddled in a phone booth or in a space Auto ' lib. Free to write a text, to try to alert public opinion and create a collective movement: Eliette Abecassis, Pierre Arditi, Yolande Moreau, Morel Francois, Natacha Regnier, Jean-Michel Ribes ...

The approach of Marc Melki has just been published by Actes Sud: another way to put on paper the reminder of this fundamental requirement: the right to dignity for all.

Opening Thursday, January 11 at 7 pm - readings by the authors Pierre Grosz and Jean Fauque, Céline Curiol, and mini live set with Bévinda, Mourad Musset.
