De noir debout et d’Obus

Cultural ,  Show ,  Dance at Stains
  • It is the story of an improbable encounter somewhere in the East of France, somewhere between 1914 and 1918.

A meeting between people like everyone else, who had nothing to do there, nothing to do together and that all opposed.
Conscript French, Senegalese rifleman, volunteer of the Antilles and Guyana, an adversary brings them together. Is it the Other, the Enemy? Is it the Nation that led them into these putrid trenches? Is it the headquarters that maintains them at all costs?
Is it not rather Death, before which all become equal again?
Then one tries to escape terror, cold, exhaustion and especially madness ... And each one to cling to his most intimate and his own culture. And each one also to recognize in the other, his brother of weapon, his alter ego, in a refounded humanity.
It is the story of a meeting between the cultures of Africa, the Antilles-Guyana and Europe, which perhaps did not take place, somewhere in the midst of the horror of the war, where Dance and music are the only escape routes.
